Our Story
Gagged Productions is composed of Bronx-based producers Mason Taub (she/her) and Evan Zwisler (he/him). Mason is a native New Yorker and LaGuardia H.S. for the Performing Arts graduate who grew up writing pop songs in her bedroom. Evan started as a teenager in the Shanghai underground punk scene and began producing music after meeting Mason when he moved to New York in 2012. Together they became a staple of the Brooklyn music scene as the indie pop duo The Values. After marrying in 2019, Mason and Evan studied music production at Berklee and continued on to launch Gagged Productions in 2021, which focuses largely on supporting queer artists in New York and beyond.
